Finding joy

Greetings on the cusp of Summer Solstice – offering the longest day of sunlight on June 20th and hoping it brings you much joy during this time of world-wide revelations.

When I launched this communiqué last month, the top of mind focus for most of us was the pandemic. Since the killing of George Floyd on May 25, the Covid-19 virus has redirected our primary attention to the disease of racism. Transitional change is ascending upon us from all directions—no longer are the days of navigating change through sequential linear events. Today, we require a higher degree of versatility, self-awareness and trust, going deeper into our mindful hearts, to navigate forward confidently, peacefully and joyfully.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my Covid-19 survey. Your feedback reflected that the pandemic impacts are universally shared and somewhat similar be it related to your personal pain, use of power or ability to find peace. Click for survey results

How we navigate through times of transition and adversity begins with our ability to find a spark of joy, to choose positive intent, to believe in and place ourselves first, to recognize that we have a very important purpose with an accompanying backpack of tools to help us deliver on that purpose.

Stay grounded and grateful, generous and compassionate. Contemplate often and live your life in the space of grace©. Contact me, I’d be honored if you shared your brilliance with me.

enJOY, Mary

As we navigate through this timeframe of change, quasi isolation,  separation and a sense of suffocation from too much of all that matters, all that does not matter, let us commit to repeating this mantra daily: “Today I find joy. Today, I deserve Joy. Today, I AM joy. ALLways.”

Contemplate:

If through all of the recent national and global events, you’ve lost sight of that, take a few minutes to reflect and jot down your answers to:

  • What, if anything, is currently causing me pain, dissatisfaction or doubt in my life?
  • What do I need to change that will help me show up with greater positivity and joy?
  • How can I address my own needs as a priority versus responding to others’ expectations first?
  • What intention do I want to set for my highest good?
  • I am living, contributing to and advancing my purpose by _______.
  • The one thing or person that ALLways brings me joy is _______.
