Mary has traversed several personal transition-to-transformation experiences, teaching her the nuances of pain and joy, navigating lost and challenging career positions, breast cancer, her beloved husband’s suicide and loss of loved ones. Sailing, enjoying her daughter, writing, continuous learning, celebrating ‘framily’, running the Army Ten Miler, participating in the Prouty Project STRETCH Adventure, trips to the Iowa family farm, yoga and nature walks have nurtured Mary’s own wellbeing. She is forever grateful for her Irish humor, irreverent perspective and steadfast German roots. Joy serves as her North Star.
